Day 01         Delhi – Cochin          [The Brunton Boatyard]

We take direct flight from Delhi to Cochin. Upon arrival at Cochin Airport meet & greet by our local representative and transfer to the hotel. Check in to sea facing room.
Your time in Cochin begins with a visit to the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1557 and renovated by the Dutch from 1663 with its beautiful murals and Jew town including the antique warehouses & shops, spices trading house and the Jewish synagogue built in 1568, the oldest in the commonwealth. This inter, connected series of Islands & shoreline presents a vivacious blend of Cultures & Religions; Kochi is the only place in the country where you can see Portuguese Churches, a Jewish Synagogue, Hindu Temples, Dutch Architecture & Mosque nearly side by side.
During the return to the hotel you'll pass the seafront, where giant Chinese fishing nets line the beaches, demonstrating the mechanical method for catching fish employed by local fishermen. Later we attend the performance of the Kathakali, one of India’s most famous Classical Dance form.

Day 02         Cochin – Munnar 130 kms / 03 hrs        [Windamere Estate]

After breakfast spectacular country side drive to Idukkii district, to the hill station Munnar. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Located more than 6,000 feet above sea level, Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountains streams Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni & Kundala.
Later visit to Mattupetty – 13 kms away from Munnar, situated at a height of 1700 m. It is famous for its highly specialized Dairy Farm – the Indo Swiss livestock project. Over a hundred verities of high yielding cattle’s are reared here. Visitor is allowed to 3 of the 11 cattle shades at the farm. The Mattupetty Lake & Dam, just a short distance from the farm, is a very beautiful picnic spot.

Day 03          In Munnar         [Windamere Estate]

Today excursion to a tranquil hill retreat which takes you on a gentle trek to explore the sprawling tea plantations including a fascinating visit to the Tea Museum which tells the story of Munnar's famous Kundala tea plantations.
Finally, you'll visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri, Tahr, mountain goats as well as a host of other wildlife including the ruddy mongoose, the small clawed otter & the dusky striped squirrel.

Day 04         Munnar – Alleppey/Kumarakom         [Deluxe House Boat]

Cruise the backwaters & explore the rural life in & around Kumarakom to Alleppey.
Life time experience of House Boat - the moving master piece, have been plying the inland waterways of southwest India for untold centuries and originally used as cargo rice boats. The fully furnished and palm covered boats (single & double) bedrooms with attached bath, sit out, kitchen and living room made of traditional wood. In each houseboat, there is 3 men staff (crew), comprising a cook and two well-trained punters throughout the cruise. Punters stand on each end of the boat for punting and directing the boat. Kerosene-lit lamps along will be available for light and mosquito nets will be provided. Traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian Kerala cuisine is served.
A journey through the backwaters of Kerala which offer one of the world's truly unforgettable experiences, myriad network of silent lagoons, freshwater river & hyacinth covered canals that wind their way through colorful corridors of forests, palms & fruit trees. A canoe expedition via an intricate network of canals, through backwater villages where daily continues unaltered, as it has for centuries. You will see lush palm groves and stretches of rice fields.

Day 05 - 07          Alleppey/Kumarakom – Mararikulam        [Marari Beach Resort]

Morning we travel the length of the Malabar coast until we come to Marari. Right in the heart of the Spice Coast, Marari is the most fabulous stretch of soft & sandy beach fringed with palm, an idyllic retreat for those who want to “get away from it all”. Relax on beach and enjoy the resort facilities.
The Marari originates from “Mararikulam”, one of the local fishing villages, where life still goes on much as it did a hundred years ago, with the man going out to see each day to earn a living bringing in the daily catch. Marari offers endless miles of superb sand and beaches backed by swaying palms, virgin territory where you can experience the local charm & traditional Kerala Hospitality at its best. Not that you need to spend the whole of your holiday in seclusion, you couldn’t be in a better location for exploring the marvelous backwater, where the tranquility, the stunning scenery & the feeling of being transported back in time, make it a superb relaxing & inspiring experience.

Day 08         Mararikulam – Delhi        [ITC Sheraton]

After breakfast say goodbye to the God’s Own Country. Transfer to Cochin Airport which is 90 kms / 02 hrs to board the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi Airport transfer to the hotel.

Day 09         Delhi – Onward Destination

After breakfast transfer to the airport to board the return flight for onward destination. [B]
